Tea Quality

In addition to our unique filtering technology, Tea-Cha supplies a variety of high-quality teas prepared especially for use in the Tea-cha filter. Our teas are picked early in the season, when the tea is young, tender and has the highest antioxidant levels. Where possible, they are processed and vacuum-packed at the tea gardens where they were grown. The tea is then ground finely for maximum flavour extraction in the smallest time, in order to avoid bitterness and astringency.

Tea-Cha promises that our teas are selected for maximum flavour and quality. Unlike other commercially grown teas, who advertise only leaf grade and tea garden, we date our teas; tea quality varies greatly according to when it is picked. Our vacuum-packing process retains 15% more flavour than ordinary plastic wrapping, in addition to keeping your tea fresh for longer.
